WorkSource partners with area universities, colleges, and private training providers to provide assistance with the cost of occupational skills training. The participant receives training in an in-demand field and local business is able to find the talent they need.This program is funded by the WorkSource Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) under the leadership of WorkSource Georgia Mountains (WSGM). Participants are not obligated to repay any funds received. WIOA funding works alongside other federal and state financial aid such as HOPE and Pell.
